Beside was presented on 8 December 2015, as part of the 21st Century programme at Chisenhale Gallery, London. 

Beside builds on Clements' research into empathy and intimacy and looks specifically at the scientific phenomena of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy and quantum entanglement. For the event, Clements hosted a conversation with two specialists who met for the first time: Sian Harding, Professor of Cardiac Pharmacology at the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College, London; and Simone Severini, Reader in Physics of Information at University College London.
